I am an eighteen-year-old (19 in Aug.) from Pittsburgh in the United States coming to Tilburg to study music. Ik heb de Nederlandse nationaliteit maar mijn beheersing van de nederlandse taal is niet geweldig. Het wordt vast beter wanneer ik in Nederland woon.
My interests include:
Philosophy - I like metaphysics, Slavoj Zizek, theology and I am trying to become a Buddhist.
Fashion - Not to brag, but I was once voted best dressed in my school!
Cooking - I love learning cooking techniques and how to make food from various cuisines.
Running - I am hoping to run the Eindhoven marathon this year.
Card games - I am excited to see what games are common in NL.
Music - My favorite genre of music is classical and my favorite composer is Sibelius. Other genres I enjoy are pop, jazz, bossa nova, and drumming from west Africa and Brazil.
